Screen-Free Summer Meet-Up Series - Dutch Gap Conservation Area
Independence And Play
About these meet-ups
These are relaxed, screen-free meet-ups — a chance for the kids to run, climb, splash and explore outside while we connect as parents. There's no agenda and no RSVP needed beyond fournorms.com: pop in late, leave early, or stay the whole time, whatever your day allows. Every location is free. Bring water, sunscreen and a snack, dress for the weather, and new faces are always welcome — bring a friend!
A Saturday morning of wildlife and water views. Dutch Gap has a floating boardwalk and shaded trails along a tidal lagoon, with herons, eagles, turtles and more to spot from the observation platforms. It's a nature area to explore, not a playground.
Good to know — Parking: lot by the visitor center. Restrooms: at the visitor center. Tip: bring bug spray, sun hats, water and binoculars if you have them. Come when you can and stay as long as you like.
