The Chesterfield County School Board will hold a business meeting at 6:30 p.m. September 8th in the Chesterfield County Public Meeting Room, 10001 Iron Bridge Road, Chesterfield, VA 23832. Public Comment Public comment will be accepted during School Board business meetings. Citizens requesting to speak before the Board will be given the opportunity to comment in person at the appropriate time. All Little Silver 5th grade students & parents are invited to find community and learn about why fostering a healthy balance between real life and tech is so important to healthy development at this age. Discussion will be led by Dr. Nicole Pensak, clinical psychologist and Little Silver mom. Dr. Pensak will share the science behind the 5th grade brain as well as practical tips and tricks for finding a healthy life/tech balance. The Balance Project will also share a back-to-school family guide to support.
Let's Talk (Intentional) Tech

On September 14 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at The Iron Ranger in St. Paul, MN Unplugged is hosting "Let's Talk (Intentional) Tech," featuring opening remarks from State Senator Erin Maye Quade & Emily Rapp, the Policy Director from Washington DC’s Institute for Families and Technology, a panel discussion featuring advocates from across the state leading the charge for tech-intentional schools, and plenty of time for parents, educators and policymakers to mingle and connect.
