We can’t catch a break this winter! It looks like tomorrow (Feb. 22) will be another winter storm, so we are going to reschedule one more time. Here’s to hoping March gives us a reprieve! Stay safe and warm until then! Join us for the *rescheduled* edition of our CCC unstructured play dates + coffee chats! We will be gathering at Sunset Park Playground -- in addition to the playground, there is a good size field so feel free to bring balls, frisbees, etc.! And picnic tables for any kiddos who may want to play card games together. We'll have some coffee on hand for the adults!

Tech Leap Year is a milestone initiative designed to support children at the pivotal moment when the community norm has established that their access to personal technology should increase, often as they transition from elementary to middle school and/or from middle to high school. During this unique window, parents have an opportunity to proactively shift established community norms from following the status quo to creating a new conversation. Join this session to learn more about the approach and next steps to get this off the ground in your community this spring - to set you up for success in the fall!

We plan to attend and address the April 22 SPS Board with our petition for more intentional tech. While we’ll likely only get a few speaking spots, we welcome as many people as possible to come stand with us as we make our voices heard and call for transparency and intentionality.
