Growing Up Well: Values-based Parenting Workshop with Dr. Rachel Kramer

March 04, 2026
9:30 AM - 10:30 AM EST
In a world where digital culture is constantly broadcasting its own messages about what matters—beauty, popularity, speed, perfection—parents have an urgent opportunity to instill values that truly guide and sustain our children. Values-based parenting is about being intentional: getting clear on what matters most to you, living those values out loud, and teaching them to your children. When kids are grounded in authentic, human-centered values, they are more likely to make healthy choices online and off. This approach isn’t about shielding children from every harmful influence; it’s about equipping them with an inner compass. When kids encounter online peer pressure, insecurity, or toxic content, they can fall back on what they’ve learned at home and what matters most to your family. Join Concord Dr. Rachel Kramer for a parent workshop about values-based parenting. This will truly be an interactive session. This event is sponsored by Turning Life On, ThinkGive, Concord Carlisle Adult and Community Education, Concord Ed Fund, Emerson Health, The Fenn School, the PTGS at CMS, Alcott, Thoreau, Willard and Carlisle Public Schools, and the CCHS PA. This event is free, but registration is required.
