This journaling and art circle gives parents, caregivers, and kids a structured opportunity to slow down and connect. Through guided art and writing activities, participants explore what they appreciate and notice about one another. Prompts include: drawing each other's faces without looking, “Exquisite Being” co-drawing, ink blots, post card writing, 5 Images of You, Why I’m Grateful for You, and more! Part graphic novel and part guide, this book helps children and the adults who care for them navigate a screen-filled world. This discussion will also be valuable for educators and children’s mental health professionals looking for resources to help guide students through technology and social media use.

Budget Public Hearing Our goal is to have at least 2 CCC members present at the start of each relevant meeting. BOE Meetings typically begin at 7:30pm but "Meet the BOE" conversation sessions occur before the meeting at 7pm with two members of the school board present to chat with. Typical meetings have two chances for members of the public to speak. Speaking is limited to three minutes.

This will be a guided meditation with a short introduction explaining the concept and intention behind the work. Open to 15 adults of all experience levels, with beginners most welcome.

On June 17th, we're celebrating the end of the school year with a Retro Recess Potluck Party! We'll teach kids all kinds of retro recess games, like SPUD, Rundown, TV Tag, and more. We'll provide pizza and ask everyone to bring a side or dessert to share. Bonus: Rose Tree Park's Summer Festival kicks off the same evening, with live music starting at 7pm at the amphitheatre. This competition will give you the opportunity to learn how to block those distracting apps on your phone and participate in new activities in real life!
