Welcome to our recurring coalition meetings for OR Unplugged! We meet on the first and third Wednesday of each month from noon to 1 PM PST. If that time doesn't work for you - don't worry! Send us an email at ORunplugged@proton.me and we can meet with you at a time that works for you. Bring your questions, concerns, passion projects, and spots where you might need a hand! We also wouldn't say no if you brought a friend :)

And a special information share from MAMA (mother's against media addiction) about how to support their important work!

Please join us for a night of education and collaboration with our first Documentary screening and Panel discussion. We will be screening the documentary "Screened Out." After the screening, a panel of local educators and professionals will discuss modern technology, social media, their impact on mental health and more. Our Panel: Sean Foley- Psychotherapist with Tech Focus Michael Klimko- School Administrator and Educator Gretchen Lenehan- School Counselor: Cranford High School Katie Matthews- Digital Wellness and Tech Addiction Educator Kristen Riley- Clinical Psychologist and local students who will share about their own experiences with tech *There is a $10 suggested donation for this event which will help us continue to bring you similar programs in the future. Get ready to chow down at the Ed Tech buffet with Jared Cooney Horvath’s new book The Digital Delusion. In it, Horvath unpacks the myth of classroom technology as progress and lays out the roadmap to reclaim real learning. Meetings will be held every other Friday (starting on January 16th) at 10am PST (1pm EST). Meetings will be led by OR Unplugged's Kathy, Jody, and Megan in addition to our friends from VT Coalition, Laura Derrendinger, and DMV Unplugged’s Keena McAvoy. In this meeting: Bonus meeting! Let's debrief and forge a path forward.
