- ABOUT THE BALANCE PROJECT -
We're starting something in Middletown.

The Balance Project is a 501(c)3, parent-led movement working to bring life + technology into harmony for kids, families, and communities at-large. Across the country, communities are coming together to build a realistic, sustainable “sweet spot” between screen life and real life that allows children, families, and communities to thrive in our ever-evolving society.

Now it's our turn.

- THE FIRST MEETING -
We will begin with a presentation about The Balance Project (what it is, what it isn’t and why it’s resonating right now), the data that informs its approach, and the foundation they have developed. From there, we will have an open conversation about opportunities to continue the conversation in our community.

Come for the information, connections, and opportunity to build local momentum.

- WHO THIS IS FOR -
This initial meeting is adults only. Anyone helping raise, teach, support, or care for a Middletown child is welcome.

You do not need to have read the books, listened to the podcasts, or already know about The Balance Project. If you’ve ever felt uncertain, overwhelmed, outnumbered, or alone in trying to navigate decisions around tech/life balance, this room is for you.

No. Most people at the kickoff will be hearing about it for the first time.

*Do I have to commit to anything by attending?
No. This is purely an information session/introductory meeting.
