Screen-Free Summer Meet-Up Series - Pony Pasture
About these meet-ups
These are relaxed, screen-free meet-ups — a chance for the kids to run, climb, splash and explore outside while we connect as parents. There's no agenda and no RSVP needed beyond fournorms.com: pop in late, leave early, or stay the whole time, whatever your day allows. Every location is free. Bring water, sunscreen and a snack, dress for the weather, and new faces are always welcome — bring a friend!
A Saturday morning by the James River. Pony Pasture has flat, shady walking trails, big flat rocks to clamber on, and lots of birds and turtles to spot — a peaceful way to start the weekend.
Good to know — Parking: ample lot at the entrance (arrive early on hot days — it fills up). Restrooms: on site. Tip: the river has no lifeguards and currents can be strong, so keep little ones close to the bank. Wander in when you arrive and stay as long as the kids are exploring.
