Schools Beyond Screens - Round Rock ISD

Petition for Intentional Technology Policy in Round Rock ISD

At the August 20, 2026 school board meeting, a presentation was given on educational technology and classroom screen time in Round Rock ISD which included proposed guidelines. However, we believe that the proposed guidelines do not go far enough. We believe that the development and adoption of a research-backed, student-centered, intentional technology policy is urgently needed in order for RRISD to continue to provide a high-quality education for all students.
