Our Mission

Every parent wants their child to leave school with stronger skills, deeper curiosity, and real-world readiness. Currently, credible evidence suggests that excessive screen time and classroom AI usage undermine those very goals. Forcing these technologies into classrooms, and onto teachers, without explicit parental consent is unacceptable, especially when AI apps used by DD2 students record data through their devices while in use. Demanding a reduction in classroom screen time, and a pause on AI, is not a rejection of technology; it is a commitment to protecting our children’s safety, development, and digital rights.

Schools Beyond Screens DD2: A Commitment for Healthier Technology Use and Responsible AI Policies in DD2

We are requesting that DD2 take a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to two rapidly expanding issues in education: excessive student screen exposure during school hours and the introduction of artificial intelligence.
