Building This Together: Principals and Teachers, We Want to Hear From You

We're a group of CPS parents working on a petition about screen time in schools, but we know something's missing: your voice. You're in the classroom every day and you know what's realistic and what we might be overlooking. That's why we've put together two short surveys, one for principals and one for teachers, to hear your honest thoughts. Your responses are confidential and will help us shape a stronger, fairer proposal for CPS. You can also read the full petition here.

Why This Action Matters

We're a group of CPS parents talking about screen time in schools, and we know we're not alone. Across our community, the same concerns keep coming up: how much time kids spend on devices, and what that means for their focus, sleep, friendships, and learning.
We've put together some ideas for CPS to consider, like limiting devices for our youngest students, setting screen time guidelines by grade, and protecting recess and lunch as screen-free time. You can read the full petition here.
We also want to hear from you.
You're in the classroom every day. You know what's realistic and what we might be missing. This will be stronger, and fairer, if it's shaped with your experience, not just around it.
We've put together two short (5-minute) surveys, one for principals and one for teachers, to hear your honest thoughts. Your responses are confidential and will help us develop our perspective.

Calls to Action

Thank you for considering it, and for everything you already do for our kids.
